![]() ![]() ![]() Tribley began her teaching career as a band director and general music teacher at Algonquin Middle School in Des Plaines, Illinois. To be selected, an educator is nominated by one of their peers (other educators, mentors, etc.) and selected by a committee composed of previous winners. T his recognition program began in 1989 to recognize Excellence in the field of Music Education in the Chicago area. ![]() Tribley was named a Chicagoland Outstanding Music Educator in 2022. Tribley was awarded Alumni of the Year from the District 207 Maine West Fine Arts Department. Tribley co-presented at the 2016 Illinois Music Educators State Conference with colleague Paul Marchese on new and innovative music technology curricula in the general music classroom. ![]() Peter Griffin, Bill Jastrow, Bernie Gerstmayr, and Jim DePalo (her former co-teacher at Hadley). Schuetz Memorial Award for Excellence in Music Education. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Warren H. Tribley also served as Illinois' collegiate president of the The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and directed a church choir. Elle Pressly, District 41 Beginning Band Director. She also served as a section leader in the renowned Marching Illini, where she met Ms. While at Illinois, she studied clarinet and piano and played in the university's concert and athletic bands. Tribley received a Master of Music Education degree from Northwestern University with an emphasis in Innovative Models of Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Tribley teaches 6th Grade Band, 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, Jazz Band, Music in Media, and in previous years, Music Technology. email: Tribley joined the Hadley Junior High School faculty in 2012 as an instrumental music teacher. ![]()
